the thing that's throwing me for a loop is that my non-contact tester, not only has to be touching Romex to go off but has to be touching the right side of the Romex to go off, is going off when it's 4 to 6 in away from the wall that doesn't even have any metal in it. The circuit was found when we actually completed the mesh to fridge connection and it blew the circuit breaker for the lights on that floor. We've already started the demo process to figure that out.
